For Her Majesty The Queen

For Her Majesty The Queen

In June 2021, as an act of condolence and sympathy for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and as a mark of respect for His Royal Highness. The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, the Commonwealth Youth Orchestra and Choir (CYO) produced a private music recording as a gift to support Her Majesty at such a very sad time and great loss. Just one copy of the recording was made.

In April 2022, on the first anniversary of the death of His Royal Highness, The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, to honour the Platinum Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, CYO produced a very limited edition of the recording to share with a small group of recipients.

This recording was recorded with Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and His Royal Highness The Prince Philip in mind, and as a very personal tribute to the most wonderful and unique partnership.
